- Fredi Bobic, the club’s sporting director, has acknowledged to ‘Bild’ that his three most outstanding attackers (Jovic, Rebic and Haller) can leave the entity at the end of the season
- He assures that “I can guarantee to the three that they will have a lot of fun playing in Eintracht, but at some point other forces will come into play and there will be nothing to do if they decide to leave it
The Eintracht Frankfurt has been one of the revelation teams of the season. The set of Adi Huetter has left a mark on the Europa League, falling in the semifinals against Chelsea who could not defeat it in the 180 minutes or in extra time. His good performance in the Bundesliga, in which he has been seventh, has put in the spotlight of many teams his main attack players: Jovic, Haller and Rebic.
Jovic is the most media player and has been linked to teams like Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. But the two squads of ‘8’ have also shone throughout the course, and Fredi Bobic, sports director, is aware of this. So much so, that he has recognized ‘Bild’ that there are chances of them leaving the club. “We do not need to sell to anybody for economic reasons, but anything can happen, we can even lose all three.”
Bobic and Eintracht will do their best to keep the three in Frankfurt, and their main asset will be to ensure that sporting will be a good year again. “I can guarantee the three that they will have a lot of fun playing in Eintracht, but at some point other forces will come into play and there will be nothing to do if they decide to leave”
The 41 goals (Jovic 17, Haller 15 and Rebic 9) that have marked in the Bundesliga have transcendental and losing them in the same transfer market would be a big blow for the German club.
